CoreLogic has issued its annual Natural Hazard Risk Summary, which details the most significant natural disasters to hit the United States last year. Emily Holbrook from Risk Management Monitor outlines the reports findings.
Hurricane Sandy was the single most destructive natural disaster in 2012 impacting more than five million residents across the New York City area. Hurricanes and floods caused the most damage while wildfires and tornadoes followed.
