Research on conflicts of interest

The following paper was prepared for the Australian Royal Commission. It has much to commend it, including a thorough analysis of the effects of conflicts, based on experimental data. There is a great discussion of unconscious bias too. Although at times, you wonder - whether all forms of human commerce are conflicted, which is expected, and that at times, remuneration systems are being compared to an ideal that cannot exist in the real world. I shall publish more commentary on this issue over the next few months. Download Research-paper-conflicts-interest-disclosure
