My Goodreturns piece on the commission issue

Richard Klipin interviewed on FMA and RBNZ Conduct and Culture Report

Richard Klipin has been interviewed by Jenée Tibshraeny at interest.co.nz. The interview and the associated article are well worth a look.

Seeing how the report contents are tackled by media underlines the difficulty in looking at the report from the point of view of someone outside the industry. Think of it like this, one car manufacturer makes ugly cars, another inefficient cars, a third, expensive cars, and a fourth makes cars that aren't as quite safe as the others. But no one makes cars that are ugly, inefficient, expensive, and unsafe. Yet that is how it looks because one report talks anonymously about problems with the whole industry.
