Through the use of New Zealand Transport Agency's Crash Analysis System, users are able to look up crashes that have happened since 1 January 2000 and can filter their search by the severity of the crash. Although the categories range from non-injury to fatal, it is noted that non-injury crashes often go unreported to police - and hence do not appear in this model..
