Each webinar session will run for 60 minutes, which includes 45-50 minutes of content and 10-15 minutes for questions.

Partners Life: Webinar sessions to encourage software use

Partners Life are now hosting some webinars to help advisers get the most out of the software particularly while they are not currently able to meet clients face-to-face.

The announcement states 'These sessions are designed for those who have either not used, or do not regularly use either Evince or My Underwriting Manager (MUM) in their processes. If you are already using these tools you may find you know much of the content already, however, feel free to join us for a refresher if you feel like it would be helpful.'

Partners Life product enhancement workshops

Partners Life have announced they are doing a number of workshops are the country to discuss their recent product enhancements and how they will benefit clients. This will be followed by a discussion on what the new Laws and Code of Conduct might mean in a practical sense for Life and Health Insurance advisers.

Expression of interest for Partners Life May adviser training course now open

New and recent advisers looking to gain industry insight are now able to express their interest to attend a Partners Life three-day adviser training course which will be held 20-22 May 2019 on level three at the Partners Life House in Takapuna.

The free training sessions aim to equip attendees with knowledge on sales, products, underwriting and claims. The training course is set with the intention of guiding new advisers towards success by introducing them to insurance terminology, relevant legislation and strategy. To ensure all attendees have a fundamental understanding of the insurance industry, they will be required to complete online modules prior to attending the sessions.


Professional IQ to Hold Compliance and Risk Management Workshop

Professional IQ is set to hold a workshop to guide advisers on the procedures to take in the event of a mishap. The workshop will involve a presentation on how to report and manage compliance and risk event.

During the workshop, attendees will learn how to establish processes that will allow them to:

  • Report events to an internal database
  • Assess the significance of the events through measurement against pre-established thresholds, and advising those who need to know
  • Repair or limit the damage of the events
  • Eliminate or reduce the risks of such events in future

Rob Dowler has been announced as the presenter. Rob is the principle in Red Owl Consulting Ltd and has countless years of industry experience.

The event will be happening Thursday 9 May between 10.30 am- 11.30 am at PIQ Boardroom, level 5, 280 Queen Street. Registrations close May 8 2019.
